ABOUT
Cale is the Celtic/indie folk music project of Andy Beck, a musician and writer who splits his time between Glasgow, Scotland and Maidstone, England.
Admirers of Andy's music have described it as "joyful", "jumpy", and even "evocative of a medieval fair". Andy has also composed short jingles for theatre pieces and YouTube channels. In 2014, his songwriting won him and his band of the time a Newcomer Award at Festival-Mediaval, one of Europe's largest and finest folk and Medieval festivals.
Andy is available for paid work, so please get in touch to discuss your project, terms and rates. He primarily creates indie folk music with an Irish/Scottish twist, focusing on his own material, but also weaves some popular cover songs into the mix.
